A Naturopath is a Natural Medicine practitioner who, using Nutrition, Herbs, Homeopathics, and Vitamin and Mineral Supplements, aims to optimise an individual's health so healing can take place automatically. A consultation with a Natural Medicine Practitioner commonly consists of an Iris examination (iridology), zinc taste test, medical history taking, present condition analysis, blood pressure testing, and requests for any tests that may be required. Naturopaths can order a host of laboratory tests, such as blood, saliva, stool and urine, to determine levels of many functions of the body. These include hormone, thyroid, bacterial, and markers for disease conditions.
